Arctic Security is excited to announce a partnership with The Shadowserver Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving global cybersecurity. Shadowserver collects vast amounts of threat intelligence and provides free daily remediation reports to vetted organizations, including governments, law enforcement, and enterprises.

Shadowserver’s goals align closely with ours at Arctic Security. Through this partnership, we are delighted to contribute resources to Shadowserver's mission, which helps them maintain and expand the scope of their work of discovering cybersecurity issues and providing that information to affected organizations. We make Shadowserver data more readily available and consumable worldwide through our Arctic EWS (Early Warning Service) and Arctic Hub products.

How This Partnership Benefits Our Customers

Improved Threat Visibility and Faster Response

Shadowserver processes and analyzes an enormous volume of threat intelligence daily, including:

  • 4-5 million sinkholed IP addresses per day
  • 1.1 million unique malware samples analyzed daily
  • 12 petabytes of stored threat intelligence

Shadowserver provides excellent quality data, and recognizing that, Arctic Security has always supported processing Shadowserver’s data for our subscribers with Arctic EWS.  We harmonize and prioritize the data Shadowserver provides, making it easily consumable for our customers. It can be readily used along with data from other providers our Arctic EWS supports, and our notifications and reporting provide unified visibility over all the sources, Shadowserver included.

Through this partnership, Arctic Security will further enhance its services by making it easier for customers to subscribe to Shadowserver. This will help customers identify more known cybersecurity issues before those issues escalate into significant incidents.

Reducing Overhead and Maintaining Up-to-Date Asset Information

One of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity is tracking digital assets that change over time and ensuring their protection. This partnership will make it easier for Arctic EWS users to subscribe to Shadowserver's data feeds and, in the long term, maintain more accurate asset inventories for their Shadowserver subscriptions. It will also reduce the risk of outdated or incorrect information leading to unnecessary alerts.

As we continue refining our collaboration, we aim to provide an even more seamless customer experience and minimize manual effort. Arctic Security is committed to making cybersecurity actionable, affordable, and accessible, and this partnership is a significant step toward that mission.

Faster update times for our Arctic Hub customers

Closer collaboration with Shadowserver will help us respond to changes and updates in their data feeds faster and shorten the time it takes to reflect those changes in our products. This will help our NCSC and CSIRT customers have a better experience with their Arctic Hub platforms.

What's next?

Cyber threats constantly evolve, and staying ahead requires reliable intelligence and efficient response mechanisms. With Arctic Security and Shadowserver working together, organizations will have stronger, real-time cybersecurity monitoring, empowering them to take proactive measures to secure their networks.

This is just the beginning—we will continue improving our integration with Shadowserver to bring more value to our customers. Stay tuned for updates as we roll out enhancements to Arctic EWS!
